Guardian of the Gate by Michelle Zink a girl named Lia Milthrope is on a journey to stop Samael, the beast, from comint to the world, and to end the prophecy. with the help of her friends, Lia searches for the last part of the prophecy. along the way lia is chased by Samaels guard. she also has to be careful of her twin sister Alice, because she will do anything to get Lia to play her role as the gate, to bring forth Samael.
